DIKIDI is a popular choice for specialists and small salons, and largely for good reason: the basic plan is free with no limit on employees. People usually start looking for a DIKIDI replacement not because it's bad, but because the business has grown: now it needs payroll, memberships and stock — and it turns out those are paid plans. Let's look at where that line is, what to compare and how to switch without losses.
Why people choose DIKIDI
DIKIDI's free model is fair: the client base, online booking, notifications and mobile apps are available with no time limit and no cap on employees. For a solo specialist or a small team that's a great start — nobody wants to pay for what a notebook does for now.
DIKIDI also has its own catalogue and client app where new people can find you. For a specialist without their own client base, that's a real benefit.
When free DIKIDI stops being enough
The line is usually crossed when booking stops being the main task. Typical signs:
- you have more than two or three specialists and calculate payroll in Excel every month;
- you've started selling memberships or class packs and deduct visits by hand;
- consumables run out unexpectedly, and nobody knows how much one service uses;
- answering "how much did we make last month?" takes half a day.
DIKIDI paid plans: what you pay extra for
Above the free basic plan, DIKIDI has three paid tiers — LITE, PRO and VIP — and features are spread across them. According to the plan descriptions on DIKIDI's website at the time of publication, client retention analysis, sales and payroll automation start at LITE; the loyalty programme, gift certificates and stock management at PRO; a personal manager and catalogue promotion are in VIP.
Paid plan prices depend on the country and the terms of your plan — check current prices with DIKIDI. The model itself is fine, but worth keeping in mind: if you need both payroll and stock, according to the plan descriptions that means at least PRO.
The catalogue: whose client is it?
The catalogue is DIKIDI's strength for those still building a client base. The flip side is the same as with any catalogue: next to your listing, the client also sees other businesses.
Once your base has grown and most bookings come from regulars, it pays for them to book through your own link — from Instagram, Telegram or your website. Then the client sees only you.
Replacing DIKIDI: what to compare
- Which features are included in the plan, and which unlock only on the next tier?
- What will a month with payroll, memberships and stock cost — not the pricing page, but your set?
- How is payroll calculated: only a percentage, or also a fixed rate and a workload-based rate?
- How do memberships work: deductions, validity period, freezing?
- Is there stock management with materials used per service?
- Can you upload your client base from Excel yourself?
- Do clients book through your own link, without a catalogue full of competitors?
- What currency do you pay in, and where is support?
SetNow as a DIKIDI replacement
SetNow plans are not split by features. Every one of them includes:
- 24/7 online booking via your own link — no catalogue, the client sees only you;
- payroll: percentage, fixed rate or a rate based on the specialist's workload;
- memberships and a waitlist for group classes;
- stock: materials used per service, batches and expiry dates;
- a financial report in Excel and SMS reminders to clients (SMS are paid in packages);
- an app for employees in the App Store and Google Play.
The price depends only on the number of employees: payroll, stock, memberships and reports are included in the plan; only SMS packages and a branded client app are paid separately. Prices are in Belarusian rubles (BYN), support is based in Belarus, and all plans are on the Pricing page.
For example, a team of up to three pays 22 BYN a month, and a team of up to five pays 35 BYN.
When it's better to stay on DIKIDI
- You work alone or in a pair, and the free plan covers everything.
- Most of your new clients come from the DIKIDI catalogue.
- You don't need payroll, memberships or stock yet.
There's no reason to replace a free tool that does the job. It's worth pricing an alternative when you already pay for PRO or keep half your records in spreadsheets next to DIKIDI.
How to switch from DIKIDI without losses
- Export your client base from DIKIDI to a file — with phone numbers and names.
- Add your services, prices, employees and shift schedule in the new system.
- Upload the clients: SetNow's import accepts Excel and CSV and suggests how to match the columns.
- Move over future bookings and remaining membership balances.
- Replace the booking link in Instagram, Telegram and on your website, and let your regulars know.
- Keep DIKIDI open for a week for cross-checking, and take new bookings only in the new system.
Quick answers
- Is there a free DIKIDI replacement? Many systems have free plans, but usually with a boundary: employees, a booking cap or cut-down features. Compare what happens once you grow.
- Do clients need to download anything? No, booking works through an ordinary link in the browser.
- What about remaining membership balances? Move them by hand when you switch — with the number of visits left and the expiry date.
- Will I lose new clients from the catalogue? If they're a noticeable share of your flow, yes. So before switching, check how many bookings came from the catalogue last month.
- Can I try it without paying? With SetNow, yes: 14 days free, no card required.
If free DIKIDI is no longer enough, try SetNow free for 14 days: every feature for the whole team, including payroll, memberships and stock, no card required. Upload your client base and work out what a month would cost. If you don't renew, your data stays put and the workspace reopens as soon as a plan is paid.
