Benefits

Benefits of notifications for business

Automatic notifications simplify communication with clients at every stage of service. They help you remind clients about bookings, inform them about changes and stay in touch without messaging each client by hand.

Reminders about upcoming visits

Clients can receive reminders about scheduled visits, so they can prepare in advance and don't forget the time they chose. This is especially useful for businesses with a busy schedule and many bookings every day.

Fewer missed visits

Reminders help clients remember an upcoming booking and arrive on time. This reduces the risk of forgotten visits and helps you make better use of specialists' working time.

Less manual work

The administrator doesn't have to contact every client personally before their visit. Automated notifications free up time for handling new bookings, talking to visitors and other work tasks.

Updates about changes

Let clients know about changes to their booking in good time, if the relevant notifications are supported by your SetNow settings. This makes it easier for clients to stay up to date on their upcoming visit.

Smoother communication with clients

Regular reminders make dealing with your company clearer and more convenient. Clients get important information about their bookings, and staff can focus more on the quality of service.

Questions and answers

Frequently asked questions

Why send automatic reminders to clients?

They help clients remember their scheduled visits, reduce the need to confirm every booking by hand and make your staff's work easier.

Can booking reminders be sent automatically?

Yes. SetNow reminds clients about their booking automatically — one hour before the visit by default. You can change the timing (1 to 24 hours) or turn reminders off, and add a second reminder, for example a day before. Reminders go out only for active bookings: a cancelled booking gets none.

Which notifications can I use in SetNow?

Booking messages and reminders reach the client via Telegram, WhatsApp or SMS. The company chooses which channels to use and in what order in its settings: if a message isn't delivered through the first channel, SetNow sends it through the next one. Telegram and WhatsApp are free; SMS are deducted from an SMS package. Which channels are available depends on the company's country, and if the company has its own mobile app, clients also get push notifications.

Do reminders help reduce missed visits?

Reminders help clients recall their booking in time and make it less likely they'll forget about the visit. Results depend on your business and your clients' behaviour.

Are notifications suitable for a small business?

Yes. Reminders are useful both for solo specialists and for companies with several employees. They help reduce manual communication and keep your schedule in order.
